Behind the Name
We chose the name Seed because we believe every venture begins as a small, powerful idea—full of potential, purpose, and possibility. Just like a seed, a business or nonprofit needs the right conditions to grow: care, clarity, support, and time.
At Seed, we nurture early-stage founders as they plant bold ideas, root them in their values, and build something lasting for their communities.

Sarah Walker
Sarah has 20 years of experience in leadership, mentorship, coaching, and development within small businesses, start-ups, and non-profits in the Twin Cities. She has completed training with the CoActive Training Institute to better serve her diverse clients, which include corporate professionals, small business owners, non-profit leaders, parents, educators, entrepreneurs, and artists. Additionally, Sarah has successfully launched two small businesses and a nonprofit organization, all of which continue to flourish.

Lisa Stonehouse
Lisa Stonehouse is an entrepreneur and founder with a passion for elevating women. She launched her first catering business from her home kitchen in 2010, later expanding to open a commercial kitchen and private supper club in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Known for her sharp business sense, creativity, and strategic vision, Lisa is now channeling her expertise into launching a nonprofit supporting women healing from trauma, while also coaching leaders, small business owners, and founders.
