My Mission

I am dedicated to guiding nonprofit and small business startups in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area by fostering meaningful connections and empowering founders to thrive.

With a whole-person approach, I create a personalized road map and build a strong foundation through challenging questions, progress meetings, and integrated support, ensuring both the individual and their endeavor are nurtured.

Our Approach

I believe starting a nonprofit or small business is like nurturing life—it requires care, intentionality, and a deep connection to purpose. This process is not just about logistics and planning; it’s about creating something meaningful, sustainable, and connected to your values and community. My roadmap helps ensure that every step is grounded in purpose and designed for long-term success.

Behind the Name

I chose the name Seed because I believe every venture begins as a small, powerful idea—full of potential, purpose, and possibility. Just like a seed, a business or nonprofit needs the right conditions to grow: care, clarity, support, and time.

At Seed, I nurture early-stage founders as they plant bold ideas, root them in their values, and build something lasting for their communities.

FOUNDER & LEAD GUIDE

Sarah Walker

With two decades of experience in leadership, coaching, and development, I’ve worked alongside small businesses, start-ups, and nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities. My training with the CoActive Training Institute equips me to support a wide range of clients—including corporate professionals, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, parents, and artists—as they navigate growth and change. I’ve also built and grown two small businesses and a nonprofit of my own, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges and rewards of building something from the ground up.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me with a good book, hiking in the woods, or creating art. My family keeps me grounded and inspired—they’re my encouragers, my playmates, and my joy.
